Great day to be a Saint. The Tuscarawas Central Catholic track team traveled to Nelsonville-York and put together some fantastic performances on an overcast day with just a peek of sun. In the 1600-meter run, our distance crew showed up big: • Alex Mercier captured 5th place, crossing the finish line with a strong time of 5:02.45. • Collin Virag ran a great race to take 9th place overall with a time of 5:19.88. Rounding out an excellent day on the track, Steven Simpson took 7th place in the 800-meter with a time of 2:16.13, marking the second-best time of his entire career. This race wraps up Steven's time wearing the TCC colors in incredible fashion. As a team captain and an outstanding leader, Steven has left a lasting impact on our program. We are so proud of everything he has accomplished here, and we wish him the absolute best as he heads to the University of Mount Union for college. Outstanding work to all of our runners today. Proud to be a Saint.
